Born in Altamura (BA) in 1976, he has been covering the role of Chief Institutional Relations and Regulatory Affairs of Italgas Group since November 2016.
As of today, he is also Chairman of the Board of Directors of Italgas Reti and Depa Infrastructure and member of the board of Directors of Toscana Energia, Umbria Distribuzione Gas and Nepta.
Graduated from the Faculty of Law of “La Sapienza” University in Rome, he holds a master’s in management at the London School of Economics. He is also a member of the Faculty of the LUISS Business School where he teaches in the executive course “Public Affairs and Institutional Relations”.
He started his professional career at Edison S.p.A. in the Institutional and Regular Affairs Department and then he moved at Acea S.p.A., covering the role of Head of International Regulation and Executive Assistant to the CEO.
Back in 2014, he served as Corporate Affairs Manager at Philip Morris Italia, dealing with regulatory and institutional aspects in the tobacco sector.
Subsequently, he held the position of Head of Institutional Relations and Regulatory Affairs in Grandi Stazioni S.p.A. (Ferrovie dello Stato Group), managing relations with national institutions and the Transport Regulatory Authority and supporting shareholders in the privatization process of the society.
“Barbara Morgante is the Chief Executive Officer of enaon (ITALGAS Group). Born in Livorno, she graduated cum laude in Statistical and Economic Sciences from the University of Bologna in 1986. In 1987 she obtained an MBA degree in Economic Development for the Advanced Tertiary Sector financed by EU and managed by the Union of Italian Chambers of Commerce and in 2019 she was awarded the Certificate in Corporate Governance from INSEAD Business School (Fontainebleau – France).
She has held positions of increasing responsibility throughout her career. From 1988 to 1995, she worked as a corporate management consultant, dealing with projects in the areas of strategy, marketing and organization for clients mainly operating in the Transport, Construction, ICT and Public Administration sectors. In 1995, she joined TAV (Treno Alta Velocità) as Marketing Manager. In 1998 she moved to the Commercial Department of the then Infrastructure Division (which later became Rete Ferroviaria Italiana, the Italian Railway Infrastructure Manager) of Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane Group. Thereafter, she held a number of different positions in companies of the FS Group in the areas of Strategy & Planning, Investments Evaluation, International Relations, M&A, Sustainability policy, Regulatory affairs and Coordination of the Group’s IT systems. She was Chief Executive Officer of Trenitalia SpA from December 2015 to September 2017. She has been a member/chairperson of several Boards of Directors of both Italian and foreign companies and is currently a member in the BoDs of Italgas Newco, Rai Way and Finint Infrastrutture SGR Società di gestione del risparmio, in addition to that of enaon.”
Germana Mentil graduated in Law from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart of Milan in 1995, she became then member Bar Association of Milan and began her carrier working for over 10 years as associate of leading international law firms such as Gianni Origoni and Allen&Overy. In 2002/2003, she specialized in Business Administration at the University of California, Berkeley and started a collaboration as a visiting lawyer with a boutique firm in San Francisco, California, supporting international companies in commercial and intellectual property matters.
After a short experience as associate of the Società italiana Brevetti S.p.A. in Florence, in 2004 she joined Piaggio S.p.A., supporting all the legal activities for the listing of the Company as well as all the corporate affairs and governance matters.
From 2009 until 2011, she moved to the Maire Tecnimont Group with the double role of Head of Corporate Affairs and Legal Coordinator of the Renewable Energy Business Unit and Infrastructure Business Unit. She also served as director of several controlled companies of the Group.
In July 2011 she was called by the leading luxury company Salvatore Ferragamo S.p.A., where she covered different roles and positions with growing responsibilities and in 2006 was appointed Group General Counsel. She was also member of the Ethics Committee and member of the Board of Directors of several subsidiaries in Asia, South America and China.
Since September 2022, she has been appointed General Counsel of Italgas, with responsibility for the legal, corporate and compliance departments. She is Vice President of enaon, board member of the energy service company Geoside S.p.A. and member of the Board of Directors of Gaxa S.p.A.
Professor Spyridon Flogaitis is the Director of the European Public Law Organization (EPLO) and President of its Board of Directors.
He is Emeritus Professor of Administrative Law at the Law School of the University of Athens, Attorney at Law at the High Court and the Council of State of Greece, Commissioner of the International Civil Service Commission of the United Nations. He has been President of the United Nations Administrative Tribunal, Alternate Minister for Foreign Affairs (2015) and Minister of Interior, Greece (in 2007 and 2009). He is Honorary Fellow at Wolfson College, University of Cambridge and Academic Bencher of the Inner Temple, United Kingdom; Doctor Honoris Causa at the NSPSPA in Bucharest, Romania, the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon in Portugal, at the Titu Maiorescu University in Bucharest, Romania, the State University of Mariupol in Ukraine, and the USPEE in Chisinau, Moldova. He has been Vice-President of the Organization of Intellectual Property, Greece, Arthur Goodhart Professor at the Faculty of Law, Cambridge University, Yorke Distinguished Visiting Fellow at the same Faculty.
He was born in Lefkas (Greece) and graduated -summa cum laude- from the University of Athens with a degree in Law. He holds a Doctorat d’Etat in Law from the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas, a Doctorate in History from the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne and a degree of the École Pratique des Hautes Etudes-IVème Section, Histoire et Philologie. He speaks English, French, German, Italian and Greek and is the author of many publications in the area of public law and History.
He was awarded with the distinctions of Chevalier de la Légion d’ Honneur of the French Republic, Cavaliere dell’Ordine di Merito of the Italian Republic, La Croix d’Officier de l’Ordre du Mérite de la Hongrie and Grande-Oficial da Ordem do Infante D. Henrique of the Portuguese Republic.
Eva was born in Athens in 1986.
She holds a MSc in Management and Strategy from London School of Economics and a BSc in Economics from Athens University of Economics and Business.
She commenced her career in the Consulting Team of PwC (2009-2017) being responsible for the projects in the power and natural gas sectors in Greece, managing also the unbundling of the natural gas distribution and supply companies.
Eva is currently the CFO of Phaethon, a company wholly owned by Elmina Copelouzou. In her current role she oversees strategic investments of the company across the infrastructure energy sector.
Her expertise lies in energy economics and corporate finance.
Born in Rome in 1980, he graduated cum Laude in Electronic Engineering in 2004, after finalising his studies in the United Kingdom.
In 2004, his professional career began in Finmeccanica, now Leonardo, leader in the Aerospace, Defence and Security sector, as an analyst with the Central Business Development Department. He then moved on to hold roles with growing responsibility in the Corporate Strategies Department. From 2012 to 2013, he was head of Product Management and alliances for Cybersecurity in Selex Elsag, a Finmeccanica subsidiary. From 2013 to 2015, he led the engineering and presale unit of Cybersecurity and Information Assurance. In 2015 he was appointed as Vice President for Cybersecurity and ICT of the Leonardo Division resulting from the Group companies’ integration process.
In 2019, he was in Capgemini as VP for Cybersecurity with the sales and operational responsibility for the multinational’s Italian practice. He was then called to take on the position of Managing Director of the Global Business Line Cloud Infrastructure Services, with responsibilities for the business related to Cybersecurity, ICT infrastructure management and cloud migration programs.
In September 2020 he joined Italgas Group as Chief Security Officer.
His responsibilities at Group level currently comprise Cyber and Physical Security, Corporate Intelligence, Global Services and Real Estate.
Alessandro sits in the Board of ECSO, the European Cyber Security Organization and is a member of the Adivsory Group at ENISA, the European Cybersecurity Agency.
Francesca Zanninotti began her professional career within Italgas in 2003. For about three years she was involved in investment control and reporting.
In 2007 she assumed her first assignment in the operational field, as ‘Head of the Moncalieri Operations Center’, managing the gas distribution activities.
From 2008 to 2010 she became ‘Plants Manager of the Northern District’.
Later appointed ‘Head of Technological Innovation Process and Services’, she becomes responsible for the activities of technological and regulatory innovation, systems and procedures coordination, network survey and control of odorization. It operates mainly in two directions: the standardization of processes and the monitoring and support of the operating units for compliance with the Authority’s requirements, in particular with regard to technical and commercial quality standards.
In the period 2013-2015 she held the position of ‘District Manager’ for Snam Rete Gas in the South Eastern district.
She rejoined Italgas in August 2015, first holding the role of ‘Network Coordination and Operational Control Manager’ until March 2017 and subsequently she became ‘President and CEO of ACAM Gas’ and ‘Head of the Liguria District’.
From May 2018 to April 2020, she was responsible for ‘Technological Innovation’ reporting directly to the CEO of Italgas Reti SpA.
In December 2019 she was appointed ‘Chief Executive Officer’ of Medea.
In March 2023 she was appointed ‘Chief Executive Officer’ of DEDA and in April 2023 she was appointed ‘Chief Executive Officer’ of EDA THESS.
Following the merger by way of absorption of EDA THESS and EDA Attikis by DEDA, since October 2023 she has been appointed ‘Chief Executive Officer’ of enaon EDA, the sole DSO in Greece in the Group.
She gained her Economics degree from the University of Bologna.
She began her career at the communication and consulting firm Sircana&Partners. In 2001, she joined the Global Relationship Banking Department of Banca IntesaBCI, where she collaborated to support the development and advisory team of large projects funded in the finance project. She continued her experience at Poste Italiane, working in the Enterprises and Bodies Division – Sales and Marketing Network.
In 2003, she joined the External Relations and Communication Department of Finmeccanica – today Leonardo – where she handled External Communication and Image and particularly followed the project to design the new Finmeccanica trademark and restyle the group’s architecture brand and, in coordination with the different company functions, that of listing Ansaldo STS. In 2009, she was named manager of External Relations and Communication of Thales Alenia Space Italia, a Thales/Leonardo-Finmeccanica joint venture.
She was Communication Manager of Telespazio – a Leonardo Finmeccanica/Thales joint venture – from 2013 until 2016, and here she consolidated her experience by supervising all Communication areas and coordinating the activities of the Italian and international group subsidiaries.
Angelo Facchini graduated in Electrical Engineering in 1983 from the University “Federico II” of Napoli. He began on 29/03/1984 his professional career in Napoletanagas, a company of the Eni-Italgas Group, where, after a period of training and experience in staff structures and coordination, takes on tasks of increasing technical complexity within the Company.
In December 1989 he starts a coordinating role in the management of gas distribution systems in municipalities located in the south of Campania.
In January 1991 he is responsible for the management of gas and water distribution systems in municipalities located north of the Province of Naples, also managing and developing customers on the territory, through the reading and billing processes and the use of office counters open to the public, for both gas and water supply.
In the period from April 1995 to January 1996, he works in Acquedotto Vesuviano, Eni-Group Company Italgas, in charge of coordinating management of drinking water distribution networks in over 20 municipalities in the Vesuvius belt.
From 1996 until July 2022, with his return to Napoletanagas, he takes on the task of managing the entire process of maintenance and development of gas distribution networks throughout the territory managed by the company (n.72 Municipalities with over 560,000 customers). His responsibilities go from defining the Budget and the Economic/Physical Multi-year Plans to be developed, overseeing the Company’s environmental issues, guaranteeing gas distribution service to customers also to following the construction and gas supply of over 30 municipalities related to the second stage of methanisation, pursuant Law 784/80.
Finally, he addresses the issues of the gas market liberalization defined by the Letta Decree (164/00) with procedural and operational changes aimed at transposing the Resolutions issued by the AEEG (236/00, 47/00). In this period, in particular in 1997, he was appointed Manager at Italgas.
In July 2002, he is appointed the new position of Head of Network Management of the District of Rome of Italgas, with the task of overseeing the processes of management of the networks and plants of the City of Rome and seven other neighboring municipalities. He defines the launch of special projects aimed at solving particular problems and/or identifying more effective and efficient management methods.
In the same period, from 04/06/2002 to 31/03/2007, he is also Member of Director of the company SETEAP S.r.l. with the objective of the Development of methanisation in the Sorrentine Peninsula.
In 1 January 2007 he becomes Head of the Central Eastern District of Italgas, with the task of supervising the processes of management of the networks and plants in the distribution systems related to the Municipalities of Italgas located in the Regions of Abruzzo, Marche and Umbria.
From April 2008, he takes over the responsibility of the District North East of Italgas with the task of overseeing the management processes of the networks and plants located in the Regions of Veneto, Friuli Venezia Giulia and Emilia Romagna.
With the role of Chairman and Chief Executive Officer in Napoletanagas, from January 2010, he takes on the task of managing the society, overseeing the management processes of the company’s distribution systems in Campania. During the period, it also oversees the process of integration into the Snam Group.
Starting from July 2015 until august 2022, he is Director Network Management of Italgas, with the responsibility of managing the distribution system of the entire Italgas network through the coordination of n. 7 Districts located on the national territory
In 2017 he implements a reorganization plan of the company, dividing the territory into 15 Poles with the task of managing the underlying distribution systems.
In the periods described above, he also assumes various parallel positions in the Group Companies; in particular, from 2007 to 2009, he is Chief Executive Officer of the company Umbria Distribuzione Gas S.p.A. with the task of managing the gas distribution network of the Municipality of Terni and municipalitys neighbors; in the period from 2017 to 2020, fills the role of Member of Director of Toscana Energia.
In May 2022 he is apponted President of the Società Metano Sant’Angelo Lodigiano with the task of overseeing the management of gas distribution system in the municipalities managed by the Company.
In January 2023 he is also Member of Director of EDA AKTIS and since June 2023 also of DEDA.
Since October 2023, after the merger of the aforementioned companies, he holds the position of Member at the Board of Directors at DEDA.
With more than 25 years of experience in banking and consulting roles, Konstantinos loves to create open, collaborative platforms to explore new business models and revenue-generating opportunities.
As Group Business Development Manager at Printec and reporting to the Deputy CEO, Konstantinos is covering the 16 CEE markets of the group and an extended portfolio of SaaS solutions for payments, self-service automation, and risk management. He also established Printec Lab as an innovation platform for the Group.
At Hellenic Development Bank, the promotional bank of Greece, Konstantinos created bundles of financial and non-financial support mechanisms for startups and SMEs, mainly covering tech-related sectors.
Before joining HDB he was the Chief Innovation Officer at Crowdpolicy, developing Open Innovation programs, such as hackathons, bootcamps and accelerators for the public and private sector. In parallel, he was acting as the Official PayPal Partner in Greece for business development of large merchant accounts in e-commerce.
Konstantinos also worked extensively at National Bank of Greece on a series of high-impact innovation projects since 2009, including startup competitions, digital branches and the first FinTech acceleration program and innovation lab in Greece in 2016, named “be finnovative”.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Athens University of Economics and Business and an MBA from SDA Bocconi. He is also Member of the BoD in DEDA, Italgas Group, Vice-Chairman of the BoD at the not-for-profit organization Hellenic Blockchain Hub and Athens Chapter Leader of Bocconi Alumni.
