On the occasion of the World Environment Day, 5 June, we actively demonstrate our commitment to the values of sustainability and the importance of collective effort to fight climate change.
On May 10th at Lycabettus Hill in Athens, and on May 17th at Nea Raidestos of Thermi in Thessaloniki, more than 70 employees from Enaon and Enaon EDA were there.
We were happy to participate voluntarily in the activities carried out by Enaon in collaboration with the non-profit Environmental and Humanitarian Organization We4all, experiencing a unique connection with nature. Through our actions, we contribute to the planting of 500 new seedlings in areas of Greece where there is a need.
Our activities included:
- Care of planted trees for their growth in the coming years
- Cleaning, landscaping and watering of the surrounding area
- Microplastic collection
With this initiative, we focus on a more meaningful approach to environmental protection by offering additional opportunities for education and awareness raising for our people. We combine the protection of the natural environment, creating a more effective action for the common good.
A big thank you to our volunteers from Enaon Group and to all the people who offered to support the initiative for their energy, participation, and love for a greener world. It was a reminder that protecting the environment starts with small actions that have great significance.
