Enaon EDA: No indication of a natural gas leak in the distribution network in connection with the reported odour, based on the inspections conducted so far

Enaon EDA’s Emergency Response team responds immediately to reports of an odour in the air in areas of Thessaloniki

Following calls received today by the Enaon EDA Emergency Call Centre concerning an odour in the air in areas of Thessaloniki, the company informs the public that:

The emergency response crews of the company were immediately dispatched to areas including Kalamaria, Peraia, Thermi, Tagarades,
East area of Thessaloniki,Pilea,Panorama,Toumpa,Ano Poli, Neapoli, Sikies, from which a large number of calls from members of the public were received, in order to carry out the necessary technical inspections.

Based on the inspections carried out to date, no natural gas leak has been detected, nor have any findings been identified that are related to the distribution network.

The company is working in cooperation with the relevant authorities and always operates with public safety, the protection of its personnel and the integrity of its infrastructure as its guiding priorities, contributing to the uninterrupted and safe distribution of natural gas.
