Another invaluable ally has joined the side of the children of ELPIDA, contributing to the fight against childhood cancer.
With compassion and care for the young heroes of ELPIDA, the Sustainable Networks Company ENAON, of the Italgas Group, announced its intention to support the work of the association ELPIDA – Association of Friends of Children with Cancer by making a donation to help meet the needs of the Marianna V. Vardinoyannis–ELPIDA Children’s Oncology Hospital.
On Tuesday, 21 April 2026, the company’s representatives-Ms Barbara Morgante, CEO of Enaon, and Ms Francesca Zanninotti, CEO of the subsidiary Enaon EDA – together with the Head of Communications and Sustainability Division, Ms Aikaterini Stachtari, and other company executives, visited the Marianna V. Vardinoyannis–ELPIDA Children’s Oncology Hospital. They were given a tour of all the facilities and received detailed information about the important work being carried out there, as well as the pioneering treatments and protocols being implemented.
The company representatives were welcomed by Mr Manolis Papasavvas, President of the Marianna V. Vardinoyannis–ELPIDA Children’s Oncology Hospital, Ms Nouli Manoli, Vice-President of the association ELPIDA – Association of Friends of Children with Cancer, and members of the Association’s Board of Directors.
Ms Morgante and Ms Zanninotti expressed their admiration for the tremendous contribution made by ELPIDA and affirmed their commitment to supporting the Association and the Marianna V. Vardinoyannis–ELPIDA Children’s Oncology Hospital in every way possible, within the framework of the company’s corporate social responsibility initiatives aimed at supporting children and families facing hardship.
For their part, Mr Manolis Papasavvas and Ms Nouli Manoli, together with all members of the Board of Directors of the ELPIDA Association, expressed their heartfelt thanks for this moving support, which demonstrates international solidarity and cooperation for children with cancer and their families.
